Stars dropping from the sky
falling towards the earth
so close that we can almost touch
yet so far that I can dream.
Plunging from the night time sky
creeping closer towards the light
they find their brilliant luster fades
as day enwraps the night.
Shrinking, fading, everdying
absorbed by one greater than thousands
the sun conquers and takes his due
until evening emerges again.
